Flipping Frogs was founded by Tim and Destiny Kunkel. Tim and Destiny were both lifelong gymnasts and Penn State cheerleaders, and have years of coaching experience. Destiny Kunkel is a practicing Speech/Language Pathologist. She has specialized in communication for children with autism and complex needs for 9 years. She currently provides private speech therapy sessions to children in Centre County. Tim Kunkel has a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and two master's degrees (Sports Science and Employment and Labor Relations). Tim is currently a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT). He has specialized in working with children with autism and behavioral needs for 4 years. He also teaches elementary Physical Education and Middle School Health classes at a local school. Tim and Destiny have four children, ages 6, 4, 2, and a newborn!

Jordyn Carper is the newest team member and coach of Flipping Frogs. Jordyn is thrilled to be coaching with Flipping Frogs!She was born and raised in Bellefonte, PA and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services from Penn State University.She studied ballet, tap, and jazz for over 15 years, and taught dance during high school and college for children ages 2 - 15 years old. After college, she worked as a Job Coach for individuals with disabilities and in Mental Health. She currently works remotely as a Stitch Fix Stylist and as coach for Flipping Frogs to have more flexibility with her husband and daughter, who has been in gymnastics herself for almost 5 years. During her free time, she oves to go kayaking and hiking with her family and going to Penn State Hockey games.
